Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is the only time of the year that adults are welcome to dress up in full costumes! (Be sure to read the official guidelines HERE so you know what's allowed.) It's such a fun experience to embody your favorite Disney Character while actually in Walt Disney World. Be sure you have your costume all ready to go for your trip! Check out some of these options from Amazon! Wearing a full costume isn't always the most comfortable way to spend the day at Disney World! Not to worry! You can always wear a t-shirt costume to the parks, and enjoy your party experience in comfort! Check out these awesome choices! Florida is notorious for sudden rain showers. Don't let your costume get ruined by a raining evening. Be sure you're prepared with some clear, light weight rain ponchos. You'll stay dry and still be able to show off your costume! One of the best parts of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is the trick or treating. Guests leave with loads and loads of candy. With cast members handing it out by the fist full, everyone in your group is certain to end up with more than they can possibly eat during the event. By the end of our visit, even with only two of us at the party, keeping track of our candy bags and our souvenirs got to be a little cumbersome. I was super thankful to have tossed one of these reusable shopping bags into my purse. By the end of the night, we'd put all our loot into this larger bag and easily carried it back to our hotel. You'll definitely want one of these in your park bag for your visit to the party! Since Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party happens mostly at night, it's the perfect time to break out some glow in the dark goodies! They're especially good for keeping little ones entertained while you wait for the start of the fireworks or the parade. Disney World knows this too, and they sell lots of light up gadgets at theme park prices. So save a little money and order one of these packages of light up items to bring with you on your trip. Every time we go to Walt Disney World, these refillable, filtered Britta water bottles have been worth their weight in gold. Staying hydrated is so important in the Florida heat, and Florida water is just plain yucky. Buying bottled water throughout the parks would get super expensive. So we always bring a couple of these filtered water bottles with us. We grab free water from quick service restaurants and water fountains, and just pour it in our bottles. The filters inside these bottles take out all the gross tasting stuff and leave you with great tasting water. Comfortable shoes are a MUST at Walt Disney World, and attending a Halloween party at the parks means even MORE walking! I alway buy special inserts for my shoes to make them more comfortable for walking through the parks. Especially if you have "cute" shoes to go with your costume, you'll want to add inserts to make them "Disney-Proof." Read about my best recommendations for shoe inserts in the link below.
